Extended description of the initiative

Middle East Airlines – Air Liban (MEA) was established in 1945. MEA is one of the major air carriers in the Middle East region. From its home base in Rafik Hariri International Airport in Beirut, MEA operates flights to 33 international destinations in Europe, Gulf, Middle East and West Africa.

How to accumulate points with the initiative

Volare points for flights sold by Middle East Airlines:

U, K 75% of miles flown
H, L, Q, T, N 50% of miles flown

  • From August 1, 2023.
  • All flights sold* by ITA Airways, even those operated by Middle East Airlines, are subject to the Volare points accumulation terms and conditions;
  • For all flights sold** directly by Middle East Airlines, Volare Members will be able to accumulate points (as shown in the table below), which will then be added to the relevant multipliers provided by the member’s club card, e.g.: Plus +10%; Premium +20%; Executive +30%;
  • The following classes R,V,A,P,S,G,E,W,O,X are not eligible to the accumulation of Volare points;
  • All Middle East Airlines flights are qualifying and can be used towards accumulating and/or renewing points on the member’s club card;
  • Points will only be credited on flights operated by ITA Airways or with Partner carriers with whom a frequent flyer agreement has been signed;
  • To accumulate Volare points, you will need to enter your Volare frequent flyer number when booking and checking in. Otherwise, no Volare points will be credited to your account.

*That is, flights issued with ITA Airways ticket code (055) and flight code ‘AZ’
