Extended description of the initiative
Delta is one of the largest airlines in the United States and a historic carrier. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, Delta Air lines is the leading U.S. global airline for products, services, innovation, reliability and customer experience.
Delta operates more than 5,400 flights per day and serves more than 300 destinations in 52 countries on six continents, ranking among the world's largest airlines in terms of passenger numbers, revenue per kilometer flown and fleet size.
Of its nine hubs, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is the largest in terms of total passengers and number of departures.
Delta is a founding member of the SkyTeam alliance.
How to accumulate points with the initiative
Volare points for flights sold by Delta:

Terms and Conditions
- Starting from 1 January 2024.
- All flights sold* by ITA Airways even if operated by Delta are subject to the Volare regulations for earning points;
- For all flights sold** directly by Delta, Volare Members will be able to earn points (as shown in the table above), which will then be added to the relevant multipliers provided by the member’s club card, e.g.: Plus +10%; Premium +20%; Executive +30%;
- Class E shall not contribute to the accumulation of Volare points;
- All Delta flights are eligible and contribute to the achievement and/or renewal of the membership Club;
- Points will only be credited on flights operated by ITA Airways or with Partner carriers with which a frequent flyer agreement has been entered into;
- To accumulate Volare points, you will need to enter your Volare frequent flyer number when booking and checking in. Otherwise, no Volare points will be credited to your account.
